Current Designs Squamish 15/8 Kayak Review

Current Designs Squamish was designed in response to paddlers’ demands for a smaller, roto-molded British skeg style sea kayak, which excels in performance. The combination of its shallow Vee hull, aggressive soft-chined sides and moderate rocker make the Squamish incredibly responsive to leans and edged turns. This appeals to paddlers seeking a fun, easy-to-use sea kayak for skills development. Best of all its lower cost polyethylene construction incorporates many of the same features normally found on vastly more expensive composite kayaks.

CD’s Squamish 15/8 is a Frontenac Outfitters favourite for our small to medium sized students taking our kayak courses and clinics as they see immediate positive results to their skills progression.
