Our rental canoes are ‘NEW’ each season and built to the highest quality, so you’re given a clean, well-maintained boat that is easy and enjoyable to paddle! Choose from a variety of designs from ~ stable and user-friendly ‘Symmetrical/ Heritage Styles’ to the latest ‘Asymmetrical/ Modern Performance’ models’. Regardless of your trip, we have a perfect ‘Premium/ Kevlar’ or ‘Ultralight Innegra/ Basalt’ canoe to ensure your back country adventure is the best possible!
Frontenac Outfitters is also conveniently located at the entrance to Frontenac Provincial Park – Canada’s most Southern Wilderness Park (15,000 acres & 22 crystal clear Canadian Shield lakes & only 48 campsites) . For those seeking endless, pristine paddling adventures…, it’s never been easier to explore the over 5’000 lakes in our region.
Our canoes come complete with all your paddling gear & safety equipment, which vastly exceeds government guidelines, at no extra charge. And while you’re here, our knowledgeable staff is pleased to share our expertise including:
- Demonstrating how to properly & efficiently strap-down & transport your canoe(s)
- Offer paddling advice such as how to launch your canoe & stroke techniques
- Explain the uses of any unfamiliar gear items & when they are to be used
- Educate on how to properly care for our equipment to eliminate damage
- Provide recommendations for paddling routes, scenic views, and trip planning

|H2O Paramount 16/6||Fast and fun, though novice paddlers may find its keeless, hull a tad twitchy initially. H2O Canoes Paramount is our best selling & most requested asymmetrical canoe|

2018 Canoe Rental Terms
Rates: Per calendar day w’ pick ups after 3:30 pm not charged for that day (pre-reservations only). Those wishing to pick up after we close (5:00pm) must make arrangements at the time of booking. Important note: $30 per hour after 5:00pm will be added to the total fee for after hours pick-up.
Pick-up & Return Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm (late day pick-ups & returns must be pre-arranged). As mentioned above, those wishing to pick up after close (5:00PM) must make arrangements at the time of booking. Important note: $30 per hour after 5:00pm will be added to the total fee for after hours pick-up.
Payment: Cash, Debit, Visa or Master Card in full upon pick-up
Security Deposit: A signed ‘open-end’ Visa or Master Card damage deposit at time of rental
Damages & Lost Equipment: The ‘Renter’ is charged for repairs & depreciation at our discretion. Lost, stolen or badly damaged equipment is charged at our discretion
Deposit Returned: When boats & gear are returned in satisfactory condition having been inspected by staff
Liability Wavier: As paddling involves inherent risk all renters over 18 years must sign a release of liability wavier as ‘You’ are responsible for your safety & actions
Reservations: Always recommended. A Visa or Master Card number & expiry date is required to secure every reservation.
IMPORTANT NOTES : Reservations are NOT accepted by e-mail and we do NOT rent for whitewater!
Canoe Rental Cancellation & Early Return Policy
- 3 Days (72 hours) required for cancellation
- More than 3 canoes we require 7 Days notice
- No Refund for early returns
- Without the required notification of a cancellation, it is at our discretion to take up to 50% of the rental cost (i.e. $50 x 3 canoes x 3 days = $450 – 50% = $225)
Canoe Rental Delivery & Pick-up
- Please note we do not do deliveries beyond the Otter Lakes for two boats or less
- Otter Lakes and Our Pearkes Lake is always ‘FREE’ w’ no delivery minimum
- Frontenac Provincial Parks Big Salmon Lake or Mitchell Creek delivery is FREE for a minimum of 4 rentals. 3 units is $40.00
